“We will do everything possible to make sure our client’s needs are met and their questions are answered.” – CAMC
Cambria Animal Medical Center, (CAMC) opened by Dr. Ogorsolka in 1994, is an extremely compassionate and knowledgeable hospital. Tucked in the quiet destination town of Cambria, CA, CAMC has been in practice since 1994. We at Eden have been working with them since 2007 and are proud to call them our “Mothership”. My father and mentor, Dr. Ennis Ogorsolka helped me start Eden Memorial Pet Care in 2007; so it’s only appropriate that “my dad” was our first Veterinary Hospital Client for Eden Memorial. So our pick for this month’s Veterinary Showcase, to start out the NEW YEAR, is Cambria Animal Medical Center!
HISTORY:
Cambria Animal Medical Center, or CAMC as we like to call them was started by Dr. Ennis Ogorsolka- aka- Dr.”O” in 1994. Dr. O received his education from Colorado State University and then served 3 years in the United States Air Force. He then started practicing veterinary medicine in Seattle, WA for over 9 years. In 1975, he moved to Atascadero, CA to open El Camino Veterinary Hospital until 1992. After a brief hiatus, Dr. O opened Cambria Animal Medical Center in 1994. Here he has been continuing to serve the Central Coast. People come to see him and his staff from as far as Los Angeles and San Francisco.
WHAT MAKES CAMC SO SPECIAL:
Dr. O is not only known for his compassion but his incredible knowledge of veterinary medicine. He handpicked his amazing staff to compliment his practice. They are an amazing group of individuals, who really do love what they do. “We are a tight knit staff and truly enjoy working together to keep our client’s four legged friends happy and healthy,” says Amy Ruiz- CAMC Practice Manager. This is very apparent when you consider that Amy has been working at CAMC for over 10 years and Maria Moynier has worked with Dr. O for 16 years. Amy says it the best, “When it comes to our clients, they are more than just a file number. They are friends and we will do everything possible to make sure their needs are met and questions answered.” As an example, Amy states, “If our client’s are battling a flea infestation, we are right there with them to make sure they win!”
