Depression can be a scary emotion.  We have all have felt at one time in our life.  But what about one, who feels depressed all the time?  Facing this emotion daily can be detrimental to relationships and feeling of self worth.  The important thing…find help!  Talk to your doctor and/or  psychiatrist and find the right help for you.  Once you have followed medical advice, you can also get help from someone else.  Did you also know that pets can help in depression?

According to an article on WebMD written by Kathleen Doheny, “Studies show that animals can reduce tension and improve mood. Along with treatment, pets can help some people with mild to moderate depression feel better.”   http://www.webmd.com/depression/features/pets-depression  This is a great article to read.  The article gives a quick rundown of how pets can help.  So check it out!
